Sullivan Public Library Alliance hosts
Sullivan County Youth Book Festival in Monticello this Spring
The Sullivan County Youth Book Festival will take place Saturday, May 30th, 2026 from 10:00 am—3:00 pm on the grounds of the Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library. We will welcome 35 authors and illustrators of books for infants through young adults. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet talented book creators and purchase their books. There will be free entertainment throughout the day including live music, crafts, face painting, character meet and greets, time to play on aerial silks, food trucks, and more. The award ceremony for the Sullivan County BOCES Cross County Reading Challenge will take place midday. All are welcome to join us for a day to celebrate literacy and books.
